Since no human can create a human being, what will we have done if we didn’t reproduce?

Answer: This isn’t a question about human beings. Intriguing as it may be, this is a deep question for discussion among philosophers and theologians. What we can do is look around to see how other species have solved the problem of finding a mate, once they’ve become adults and lost both parents/chances at parental investment in bringing them to adulthood. In many cases, mating strategies depend on the ratio of males to females in the population – those species with few females compared to males will often resort to violent male-male competition, while those with more females will experiment with all sorts of tactics from courtship rituals that showcase their strengths as mates or potential providers through sexually selected songbird duets that advertise good genes for offspring
