I haven’t slept in over a month. How likely is this to be fatal insomnia?

Answer: It is unlikely for any form of insomnia to result in death. In many cases, what people actually have when they’ve been awake for a month is not insomnia at all but fatalism, complacency with stress and anxiety, learned helplessness or other psychological disorders. The longest documented bouts of sleep deprivation are 18 days in 1964 and 11 days in 1995 during competitions that were supervised by doctors and that required subjects to be available for testing whenever called upon.
