Are heeler dogs good with other dogs?

Answer: The answer to this question really varies and depends on the temperament of your pet. As a rule, they are social if properly trained and neutered.Heelers may not be good with other dogs, but they make decent companions for cats. They can also get along very well with children once they get used to them, provided they’re raised in the same household. However, it is common for heeler breeds to fight amongst themselves if not raised with each other from an early age; they may even kill one another over territory disputes or dominance contests among males if placed together while adult which is why many American animal shelters won’t adopt them out as a pair at all because there’s already enough aggressivity going on in their fights
